Continuing with the commemoration in 2020, of the 100 Year Anniversary of the Venezuela Air Force.

In 1947 began the arrival of airplanes to the Venezuelan Air Force, coming from the USA warehouses of leftovers of the just ended World War II. This project was called ARP (American Republic Project) and it included: training aircraft Texan T-6G, Mitchell B-25 medium bombers, P-47 Thunderbolt fighters, Douglas C-47 medium transport; as well as Beechcraft reconnaissance and transport planes; among them: 3 Beechcraft AT-7 Navegator, 6 Beechcraft AT-11 Kasan and 10 Beechcraft C-45 Expeditor.

The Beechcraft C-45, was used as a cargo plane and operated for a long time as a personnel carrier; It went out of operation in 1978. An old C-45 Expeditor is kept in good condition in the museum of the FAV in Maracay Venezuela

To build this model I used the 1/48 scale kit: BEECH 18 / UC45 from the French company MACH-2; the paint is from MM (Testor) and decals are homemade.

Enjoy the photos.
