1/72 Hobbyboss P-39 Airacobra

Well, almost reaching the end of my modelling lifetime's accumulation of small-scale military items prompted me to try this Russian front piece. The 88-mm could be from any manufacturer you like to name (I really can't remember), while the PaK A/T gun is definitely Airfix, and the figures are Caesar Miniature.

The Easy Assembly P-39 really was. Only problem with an in-flight stance was that these kits have no provision for wheels-up so such a configuration needs filling and sanding. Likewise, no pilot figures are ever provided by Hobbyboss.

The plane is mounted on a metal rod disguised by the cottonwool "smoke". Everything was finished using Tamiya acrylics and a brush or two. Base is scrap etc.
